A BRIEF PRESENTATION
The Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica – PPGEE) at the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid (Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido – UFERSA) began its activities in the second half of 2011 and has three lines of research:
- Control and Automation Systems
- Electrical Systems
- Telecommunications and Applied Electromagnetism
The Program aims to provide a solid scientific and technological education at Master’s degree level, as well as to improve the level of teaching staff working in the program’s lines of research, being highly qualified to develop research of scientific, technological and social interest. It is currently made up of a faculty of 17 permanent professors, 2 collaborators and 4 post-doctoral students divided between the lines of research.
The total number of Master’s thesis defended up to August 2024 is: 126
The Program is currently rated Concept 3 by CAPES’ quadrennial evaluation (2017-2020).
